Tony Khan Provides Details On New Contract With WBD Regarding AEW Collision
Last night during the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum, Tony Khan confirmed that AEW Collision wiill bring in more money to the company (AEW.)
On 5/17, Warner Brothers Discovery announced AEW’s new live television show, AEW Collision, which will premiere on Saturday 6/17. AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed earlier prior to AEW Double or Nothing that AEW Collision is an addition to the company’s current media rights deal with WBD.
During the AEW Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, Khan confirmed that with the debut of AEW Collision it will generate extra revenue. It was also announced that the company has signed a new contract with Warner Brothers Discovery, for the same length of time.
Khan went on to say that AEW Collision is a great opportunity for the company to gain more revenue and grow the brand even further. Khan stated that with the addition to the show there will be increased production costs, however the company is saving by no longer producing Dark and Dark: Elevation.
Tony also recently confirmed talks with Bill Goldberg.
