Shayna Baszler Says She And Ronda Rousey Are Sick Of The WWE Women’s Tag Division Feeling Temporary

Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey recently captured the WWE Women’s Tag Titles earlier this week.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team division has faced much turmoil since its inception, with several champions being forced to vacate, with the division remaining dormant for quite some time.

Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Baszler stated that she and Rousey are tired of the division being so “temporary.”

“We didn’t just want these titles. We’re tired of a tag division that’s so temporary all the time, like ‘Oh, we need to do something, let’s throw some girls together.’ We want to make a tag division. It’s very possible to have tag teams that also wrestle for singles, so I think we can build a tag division that doesn’t take away from the singles scene at all, so that’s what we want to do right now,”

As for who the champions will face, it is unknown at this time what their first program will be. We will just wait and see if WWE will begin booking the division better with Ronda Rousey at the top.
