Sami Zayn Believes Bloodline Storyline Is Template For Quality Storytelling In Wrestling
Sami Zayn is very fond and proud of his story with Kevin Owens and The Bloodline.
The Bloodline saga involving Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) has taken many twists and turns since it began in 2020 with Reigns establishing himself as the Tribal Chief. Solo Sikoa entered the picture as a member of the family, while Sami Zayn was accepted as an Honorary Uce.
The Bloodline story has compared to “cinema” by fans online and the longevity of the storyline is unquestioned.
Speaking on WWE After The Bell, Zayn explained why he thinks the Bloodline story has set a new standard in wrestling storytelling.
The history between Owens and Zayne was mixed into the Bloodline story during the fall of 2022 when Owens battled against Zayn in WarGames at WWE Survivor Series. The two would eventually come together to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Uso’s at WrestleMania 39.
Here is a full transcript of the interview where Sami commented on the Bloodline storyline being “cinema”.
