Two Title Matches Made Official For NJPW STRONG Independence Day
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has made two title matches official for its upcoming NJPW STRONG shows at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on July 4th and 5th.
On July 4th, the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Francesco Akira and TJP, who are members of the United Empire faction, will defend the titles against Bullet Club’s Clark Connors and Dan Moloney. Moloney, who is a former United Empire faction member, turned on Francesco Akira and TJP at NJPW Dominion on June 4th and aligned himself with Clark Connors and Bullet Club.
On July 5th, KENTA will put his STRONG Openweight title on the line against AEW star Eddie Kingston. This will be the Korakuen Hall debut for Kingston.
