Sergeant Slaughter Rejected Pitch For Storyline Where He Would Teach Lacey Evans The Cobra Clutch
Sgt Slaughter had no desire to work with Lacey Evans, despite her adopting his finishing move.
Lacey has been on the back burner since she made some pretty horrible comments with regard to people who deal with learning difficulties. Since then, she has been losing almost all of her matches and her push that she appeared to be set for has not come to fruition.
Wrestle Votes reports that back in January, Sgt Slaughter rejected a pitch for a series of segments where he would teach Evans the Cobra Clutch.
Adding to the Lacey Evans / Sgt. Slaughter story… back in January WWE asked Sarge to appear in the Lacey return vignettes, where he would “teach” & pass down the Cobra Clutch. Slaughter adamantly denied any involvement.
