IMPACT Wrestling Announces Hiroshi Tanahashi For LIVE IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 Event on 8/20

Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to make the official announcement.

BREAKING: The legendary @tanahashi1_100 will be at #MultiverseUnited2 on August 20 in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. Tickets go on-sale on Friday, June 16. @njpwglobal pic.twitter.com/xNupsFj2dy

At the first Multiverse United show in March, Tanahashi replace an injured Will Ospreay to take on Mike Bailey

No opponent has been revealed, and Tanahashi is the first star that has been announced for the event. Bodyslam will update with other stars and matches as that information becomes available.
