A title unification match has been agreed to.
On Friday Night SmackDown, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre were brought out by Kayla Braxton, but before they could speak, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler made their way to the ring. Shayna stated that the NXT women’s tag titles were created for her while Ronda stated that the division was not big enough for both sets of champions. Dawn and Fyre would accept the proposition for a title unification match before taking the fight to the main roster’s champions.
The NXT champions would drive the mixed martial artists from the ring, winning the first battle between the two teams.
