Mick Foley Says Its Better For Cody Rhodes To Face Brock Lesnar Before Winning A World Title

Mick Foley says its better for Cody Rhodes to feud with Brock Lesnar before winning a WWE World Title.

Mick Foley believes Cody Rhodes needs the hurdle of Brock Lesnar before he wins the WWE Championship. Cody has been feuding with Brock since the night after WrestleMania, and the pair are one a piece in singles matches.

Foley, on the latest episode of his Foley is Pod podcast, explained his reasoning.

“I think it’s important that the title not go to Cody because I think what Cody is going through in this series Brock Lesnar is giving him the credential, so that when he does — and I think there will definitely be a moment where he becomes that guy, everyone will feel like he deserved it,”

We will have to wait and see when Cody will compete his trilogy of matches with Brock but for now, Cody will be waiting for Lesnar’s answer on his open challenge.
