Kris Statlander comments on CM Punk’s upcoming AEW return.
Next Saturday on AEW Collision, CM Punk will make his return to AEW television when he teams with FTR to take on Bullet Club Gold and Samoa Joe in a trios match. Collision is set to debut in Chicago, so the crowd will be loud for the return of their man.
AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander recently spoke in a new interview with Nick Hausman and commented on Punk’s return to All Elite Wrestling.
“I’ve always had decent interactions with him. If this is going to help us out, then that’s fantastic. I can only hope that with all these announcements going on and this new show starting that we only experience positive outcomes from this. Hopefully no negativity happens. We all get frustrated with our jobs sometimes, and that’s understandable, but I do hope that everything that we do going forward is for the better of AEW, and I think that’s the most important thing.”
