WWE want to bring back the Scottish Warrior sooner rather than later.
McIntyre has been off WWE television since WrestleMania 39 when he lost in a challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Since then, he has not featured on any show. There have been reports that McIntyre was hurt, and also that there was some tension regarding him resigning with the company later this year.
PWInsider now reports that McIntyre may be back sooner than fans may have expected.
There’s been a push within WWE creative to have Drew McIntyre back into the storyline mix by Money in the Bank. There were meetings last week regarding pitches for his return.

We will have to wait and see when McIntyre will return to WWE television but for now McIntyre remains on hiatus.
