WWE’s Exclusive TV Rights Negotiations With USA And FOX Ends Without A New Deal
WWE have not signed on with Fox and USA to air WWE television.
The company is currently airing Monday Night RAW and NXT on USA while FOX gets Friday Night SmackDown. However, the TV rights negotiations between WWE and the networks has not gone well as of this writing, as the exclusive negotiation window has passed with no deal.
Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that WWE’s exclusive media rights negotiation windows with NBCUniversal, the parent company of the USA Network, and FOX with the companies, have expired. The report also notes that WWE has interest from both Disney and Amazon for their TV rights.
We will have to wait and see where WWE programming will continue to air but for now it appears that the USA Network and FOX will not feature the programming going forward.
