IMPACT Wrestling Announces Lio Rush For Summer Sizzler TV Taping on 6/23, Lio Rush Comments
Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to reveal that Lio Rush will be returning to the company.
Lio Rush stepped in for Josh Alexander at the first Multiverse United show after Josh revealed an injury and was unable to compete. He ended up in a #1 contenders match for the IMPACT World Title against Kushida, with the winner moving on to Rebellion for their title shot.
Lio Rush fell short in that match, but it looks like he’ll be back with the company for at least 1 day or television tapings, emanating from Atlanta, Georgia on June 23rd. No matches have been announced for this event yet.
Lio took to his own Twitter account to comment on the news.
