Sanada Sets Open Challenge To AEW Roster For IWGP Heavyweight Championship At Forbidden Door
Sanada is looking forward to defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door later this month.
During this week’s AEW Dynamite, Sanada would appear in a pre-tape, stating that he is looking forward to defending the championship at Forbidden Door. He would then go on to say that he will be hosting an open challenge on June 25th, for any AEW roster member to accept.
Sanada would then state he is looking forward to seeing what member of the AEW roster steps up to the challenge.
Sanada’s open challenge joins Kazuchika Okada vs Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega on the June 25th card.
Later in the show, Jungle Boy would accept Sanada’s challenge.
