Both the AEW and IWGP World Titles will be defended at Forbidden Door.
During this week’s AEW Dynamite, we saw Sanada make an open challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door. Later in the show, Jungle Boy would accept the challenge and asked HOOK to be in his corner at the event, which HOOK agreed to.
Elsewhere, Hiroshi Tanahashi would challenge MJF. Despite MJF stating he would not be taking part in the match, the match was still made official as the card drew to a close.
Also on the show, Zack Sabre Jr made the challenge to Orange Cassidy for an International Title match, however it was not made official as of this writing.
