Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi Win AJPW World Tag Team Titles
The All Japan Pro-Wrestling World Tag Team Titles are back in AJPW.
At the June 15th AJPW Dynamite Series show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi defeated Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kenoh and Manabu Soya for the AJPW Tag Team Championship bringing the titles back to AJPW.
Kento Miyahara pinned Manbu Soya with his Shutdown Suplex finisher to win the titles for him and Aoyagi.
Kenoh and Soya won the AJPW Tag Team Titles back on March 21st when they defeated Yuma Aoyagi and Naoya Nomura. They defended the titles successfully twice against AJPW tag teams before losing them earlier today. Kenoh had threatened to have the AJPW Tag Titles move to Pro Wrestling NOAH jurisdiction if him and Soya had retained the straps.
Miyahara and Aoyagi were immediately challenged for their newly won AJPW Tag Tiltes by Atsuki Aoyagi and Rising Hayato following the match.
