Nick Gage Says Deathmatch Wrestling Is Not His Favorite Style, Enjoys Really Good Wrestling

Nick Gage comments on deathmatch wrestling.

Gage has made his name in GCW off wrestling deathmatches, putting his body through hell time and time again while competing in the promotion. However, despite this, Gage says deathmatch wrestling is not his favorite style.

Speaking on the Defyant Ones podcast, Gage spoke about working in CZW, and admitted that he prefers “really good wrestling”.

“Yeah, we started that shit,” he said. “I was all in. I mean, it’s not my favorite wrestling, to be honest with you. I like fuckin’ really good wrestling, but I got a niche. I’m good at Deathmatch Wrestling, so I just do it, but we were the ones to introduce it. We kept telling John [Zandig], ‘We gotta get crazy,’ you know? That’s the way it was in the late 90s, 2000.”
