CM Punk Says He Treats Pro Wrestling Like The TV Show That It Is
CM Punk views pro wrestling as a business plain and simple.
Punk is currently scheduled to make his AEW return this weekend during AEW Collision, making his first appearance for the company since AEW All Out 2022 and the All Out Brawl.
While speaking to ESPN, Punk made it clear that he views professional wrestling as the TV show that it is.
“I know pro wrestling is absolutely the most bizarre form of entertainment on Earth, but to me, I treat it like a business, and I treat it like the television show that it is,”
“So, y’all haven’t seen me since I won the belt. I’m coming back. Tune in to find out exactly what I have to say. I’m picking up right where I left off.”

Punk was stripped of the AEW World Title shortly after the All Out Brawl and has been out of action with a triceps injury since. We will have to wait and see what kind of condition Punk will be in when he makes his long awaited return on Saturday Night.
Punk is expected to speak and wrestle on Saturday.
