Tony Khan says Ring Of Honor television was not considered to air on TNT.
Before settling on HonorClub, there was reportedly much talk about where Ring Of Honor television would air after Tony Khan purchased the company. One rumored location was TNT as part of AEW’s deal with Warner Bros Discovery.
While speaking with POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomic’s Brandon Thurston, Tony Khan talked about ROH being on TNT, stating that this was never a consideration, although Tony understands the appeal.
“I think the idea of two more hours of AEW was very appealing. What it meant was ‘AEW Dark’ and ‘AEW Dark: Elevation’ would be coming to an end, at least for now and they were great shows and they’ve been huge for the development of AEW.
We will have to wait and see what comes next for Ring Of Honor, but it will continue to air on HonorClub every Thursday for the foreseeable future.
