Ace Steel is not welcome backstage at AEW events despite being re-signed by the company.
Steel took part in the infamous AEW All Out Brawl last year and was fired by the company in the aftermath. However, in the build up to CM Punk’s return to the promotion, he was rehired.
Fightful Select reports that Ace will not be backstage at shows in the near future despite being re-signed.
For those wondering, Ace Steel is in Chicago, but will not be in attendance at Collision, or any AEW shows as of now. He is signed to the company and helping out with CM Punk’s storylines. He’s sitting in for Lars of the Wrestling Perspective Podcast in June, Mondays on Fightful.

Punk returned to AEW last night on AEW Collision, getting the win in trios competition in the shows main event.
