The Elite will not be in attendance for AEW Dynamite this week.
Fightful Select now reports that while The Elite would miss AEW Collision this week as expected, they will also miss Wednesday’s Dynamite. This sets the stage for a planned appearance from CM Punk. Dynamite will feature in Chicago, just as Collision did on Saturday.
As expected, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega were not in Chicago for AEW Collision on June 17. However, we’ve heard they might not be in Chicago at all, and that includes for this week’s AEW Dynamite at Wintrust Arena. We’re told that there were pre-tapes done to progress some of their angles, but that there’s a good chance they’re not in the arena. Instead, CM Punk may be showing up this Wednesday, though not officially announced. As of this weekend, those close to Punk claimed that he was planned for the June 21 show.
