Jeff Hardy Taking Sobriety Seriously, Will Not Wrestle Outside AEW And Will Limit Con Appearances
Jeff Hardy is taking his latest attempts at sobriety seriously.
The AEW star has been long haunted by substance issues, and most recently was arrested for a DUI last year.
While speaking on his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy revealed that Jeff Hardy will not be competing in indie events outside of AEW, trying to minimize any possible temptations to his sobriety.
“He doesn’t wrestle on the indie scene right now. Jeff doesn’t want to wrestle on indies. He only wants to wrestle on AEW right now. He’s open doing signings and cons and stuff like that, but he only wants to do two a month. He’s really put his foot down with that and I respect that and I’m cool with that”

The Hardys are set to take on The Gunns on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see if the Hardy brothers can garner some momentum towards one more final run at tag team gold.
