Tony Schiavone Didn’t Know He Would Partake In Scissoring Session On AEW Collision’s Debut

Tony Schiavone was surprised by the scissoring that took place on AEW Collision’s debut episode.

On Saturday night, Tony Schiavone would interview The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass on the show, with The Acclaimed making it clear they are still chasing the AEW Trios Titles. In the end, the segment would come to a conclusion with Schiavone scissoring with both Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed in a four way scissoring session.

Speaking on What Happened When, Schiavone talked about the segment and admitted he had no idea he would be roped into scissoring.

“That was tremendous. We had talked about it earlier. We talked about how we were going to do the interview. I just thought they were going to scissor. I didn’t know it was going to be me. That kind of surprised me. That was a lot of fun. They get a hell of a response. I’m a fan,”

We will have to wait and see what comes next for the trio, but Tony Schiavone was certainly happy to be involved in the scissoring segment on Saturday’s show.
