Wardlow’s Car Break In Earlier This Year Was A Real Situation Turned Into A Storyline

Back at AEW Revolution, Wardlow would challenge Powerhouse Hobbs for the AEW TNT Championship.

Previously, Hobbs had captured the title in the aftermath of a car break in that Wardlow was the victim of. On AEW television, it was stated that QTV were responsible for the break in. However, that was not the case.

Fightful Select have confirmed that the situation was real and that AEW threw the storyline together due to the real life break in.

Regarding a Q&A question from a recent show, Wardlow’s vehicle being broken into was legit, and then turned into a storyline. His passport was also stolen, and it prevented him from working a show.

Wardlow recently once again lost the TNT Title through shenanigans as he lost the belt to Luchasaurus on the debut episode of AEW Collision this past weekend. We will have to wait and see if Wardlow can once again recapture the TNT Championship.
