Pro Wrestling NOAH Star Takashi Sugiura Out Indefinitely With Eye Injury
Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced that Takashi Sugiura will be out of action indefinitely due to a lens subluxation. Suguira revealed on twitter that he will require surgery to repair the eye injury.
Suguira posted this message to his fans:
We apologize for any inconvenience. Since the eye is important, I will come back with a successful double surgery. Thank you for your continued support of Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Due to the injury, Sugiura has been removed from his scheduled appearances for NOAH on June 22nd and June 24th.
Takashi Suguira suffered the eye injury during his match with GHC Heavyweight Champion Jake Lee on June 17th as he attempted to become the GHC Heavyweight Champion for the 5th time. Sugiura was unsuccessful in regaining the title.
