Gunther Does Not Want To See The Intercontinental Championship Redesigned
Gunther does not want to see the Intercontinental Championship redesigned like other titles have been in recent times within WWE.
Four new championship belts have been revealed since WrestleMania, with Seth Rollins, Asuka, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley all receiving new championships.
One champion who does not want a new title belt is the current Intercontinental Champion Gunther, who has held the title for over a year now.
Gunther told Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo:
“I’m fine with the one I got,”
“I personally always liked the old design, with the white strap. Things have to develop, and things have to move forward. I think it’s just personal taste. I’m very pleased with how it looks right now.”

While Gunther does not officially have an opponent for his next title defense, it is expected he will battle Riddle with the title on the line in the near future.
