Mark Henry reveals part of his job within All Elite Wrestling.
Mark Henry is a long time veteran of the sport of pro wrestling, working for many years with WWE before making the jump to AEW in recent years. Henry has not only served as an on screen personality, but a sounding board for AEW talent and higher ups alike.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, the WWE Hall Of Famer talked about his backstage role in AEW.
“I do a lot of the psychology, I teach. I’m considered a coach, but I don’t produce the matches that you see on TV. I go to each individual guy and I talk to them about their persona and character. ‘Hey, man, I think if you changed this, can you try to do this differently?’ So we go back and forth, and there’s some people that listen better than others, and you can see the development of those people.”

AEW is currently gearing up for Forbidden Door 2023, with Rampage and Collision still to come before the PPV.
