Adam Cole will not be making an appearance at tonight’s Forbidden Door event.
Originally scheduled to compete on the event with his match being added to the card on Friday, Cole will not be cleared to compete on the show tonight. Tony Khan broke the news on Twitter earlier today, noting that Cole has come down with an illness and due to this, his match with Tom Lawlor is now off.
Due to illness,@AdamColePro isn’t cleared tonight, therefore the Adam Cole vs @FilthyTomLawlor match is canceled. Despite the change, tonight will be an amazing show! Thank you to everyone watching #ForbiddenDoor, either here live in Torontom @ScotiabankArena or on ppv tonight!

This is bad luck for Cole, who had previously been on the shelf since suffering a concussion at last years event. While it has not been confirmed if Tom will be rebooked for tonight’s show, it does not look like that will be the case by Tony’s tweet.
