A huge ten man tag team match took place on Forbidden Door.
As expected, The Elite were huge fan favorites upon their entrance, owing to CM Punk’s crowd reaction earlier tonight. The Blackpool Combat Club would come out to Wild Thing, opting to a different approach for this matchup.
Initially teasing Claudio and Eddie locking up, Shota Umino and Hangman Page would end up starting the match. An early big spot featured Takeshita and Ishii trading big strikes with each other, something the crowd enjoyed.
Soon after, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley would come face to face in the ring, much to the delight of the crowd. They would begin trading huge chops that would continue as chaos reigned around them with the pair not being denied their fight, until Claudio would enter the brawl and then tag in.
This would begin a streak of dominance for Team Blackpool Combat Club. However, as ever The Elite would not say die easy, hitting an incredible shooting star on the outside to Takeshita as a unit.
After some more back and forth, Eddie Kingston would end up eating two superkicks from The Young Bucks, getting in the way to save Mox from the shot.
In a highly entertaining final stretch to the matchup, Ishii would find himself the legal man against Wheeler Yuta, hitting a huge lariat and a stalling brainbuster for the victory
