All Elite Wrestling are zeroing in on when and where Blood and Guts 2023 will be held.
The stipulation matchup is a fan favorite for fans, featuring two rings surrounded by a large steel cage. Remarkably similar to War Games, there is two key differences between the two matches and they are the presence of blood and that leaving the cage will not result in a loss.
This year, it looks like AEW will be taking the match to Boston, as Fightful Select have now reported the company are targeting the TD Garden for this year’s location for Blood And Guts.
According to those with knowledge close to the situation, All Elite Wrestling is targeting Boston as the location for the 2023 Blood & Guts match. The company is set to visit the TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics, on Wednesday, July 19 for a AEW Dynamite taping.
Fightful Select
While nothing has been confirmed, many fans have been speculating that this years match will feature The Elite and The Blackpool Combat Club bringing their long rivalry to a close. There have been two Blood And Guts matches in AEW history.
In 2022, the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & Santana defeated the Jericho Appreciation Society. In 2021,The Pinnacle defeated the Inner Circle in the first match in company history.
