While Adam Cole was pulled from Forbidden Door due to illness, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t other issues.
Cole was originally scheduled to face off with Filthy Tom Lawlor at the event. However, due to illness was pulled from the card at the last minute.
Fightful Select has reported that Cole has been banged up since his recent title eliminator match vs MJF on Dynamite.
We’re told there’s been concern Adam Cole was banged up after his match with MJF, but he’s still expected to appear on TV. He is actually out of tonight with an illness.

We will have to wait and see what will come next for Cole, but with MJF defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door, Cole could be next in line for an AEW World Title.
