Billie Starkz Thanks AEW For Letting Her Make Canadian Debut Against “One Of The Best Wrestlers In The World”
Billie Starkz is over the moon about her match at Forbidden Door despite coming up short.
During the Forbidden Door Zero Hour, Billie Starkz and Athena would battle it out for a spot in the semi finals of the women’s Owen Hart Cup, with the match possibly being the biggest of Billie’s young career.
Starkz did not disappoint in her time in the spotlight as she had a star making performance against the formidable Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion, Athena. While the match was not lengthy, the compact story of Starkz trying to shock one of the top female talents in the industry was a compelling one.
In the end, Athena would capture the victory, with Starkz receiving an avalanche of praise from fans and peers alike. On Monday morning, Starkz took to Twitter, thanking AEW for the opportunity to work with as she put it, “one of the best wrestlers in the world.”
