DLo Brown Wants IMPACT Wrestling To Go Live Every Week

D’Lo Brown is *seemingly* back with IMPACT Wrestling once again.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Brown spoke about people “sleeping on IMPACT” and said that if fans give IMPACT a chance for three weeks, they will return for the fourth and never leave.

“I have said this, and I say this with no disrespect, but if you’re sleeping on IMPACT Wrestling, that’s a ‘you problem,’ not a ‘me problem,'” said Brown. “I will tell you, if you give IMPACT three shows, three weeks, you’ll be back for the fourth, and you’ll stay with us. I think our TV is done in a way where it draws you in. It doesn’t insult the intelligence of the viewer, and it pays homage to what wrestling is supposed to be.”

Brown also talks about the long-term hope that the brand will one day produce live weekly television again.

“You can only hope that that’s our ultimate end goal. You can only hope that that’s where as we grow, that’s where our success will take us. As of right now, I’m just happy putting out a quality product that you can see on YouTube [and] television,” Brown said.

Brown was with IMPACT for the third time in July 2019, signing a multi-year deal as a producer. He later transitioned into a talent relations role and served as the color commentator for IMPACT programming from January 2021 until early 2022 before being replaced by Matt Rehwoldt.

D’Lo is a former Co-Head of Talent Relations, alongside Gail Kim, and as well as a producer with IMPACT. He was backstage with IMPACT working as a producer as recently as their Under Siege Pay Per View in May, but was also there for their Rebellion Pay Per View and the following TV tapings.
