Vince McMahon is still heavily influencing the creative for the current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion.
Reigns has been champion for over 1000 days now, and has beaten the best WWE has to offer to remain champion. His creative direction has been the focal point of WWE programming, as Reigns remains the face of the company.
Ringside News has received further clarification on how Roman Reigns’ creative operates within the company.
We were told that Michael Hayes, Paul Heyman, Triple H, and Vince McMahon are involved with the finishes for his matches. This information is very close to the vest, and that explains why practically every one of Roman Reigns’ matches are sell-outs at the monitors backstage.
The WWE creative team is not involved with Roman Reigns’ direction. We were also told that “the storylines themselves are driven by Roman, Paul Heyman, Vince McMahon, Triple H, lead writer Ryan Callahan.”

Roman will compete at Money In The Bank this Saturday as he teams with Solo Sikoa to take on Jimmy and Jey Uso in the Bloodline Civil War.
We will have to wait and see how McMahon continues to influence Reigns’ creative in WWE.
