IMPACT Knockout KiLynn King Talks Developing Chemistry With Taylor Wilde ‘On The Fly’ As Opponents

KiLynn King first showed up in IMPACT Wrestling back in December of 2022, when she lost a match to her now-partner Taylor Wilde on the December 22nd episode of BTI (Before The IMPACT), and also lost a match to Gisele Shaw just 2 weeks later on the January 5th, 2023 episode of BTI.

King popped back up in March of this year and immediately teamed up with Taylor Wilde, and called themselves The Coven.

Appearing on Wilde On With Taylor Wilde, King reflected on her first match against Wilde in December 2022 and how they were able to develop chemistry amid the chaos of being thrown together as opponents quickly.

“The first match we ever had together, it was kind of chaotic. I signed the contract, and then I had no clue what my role was going to be once I started. I think we literally got the script like a day or two before. So we had to pretend like this was planned long in advance. That we had this dynamic going on, and we had these secrets in our heads. It’s like, let’s just make them believe that this chemistry is real. I think since then, we’ve really communicated so well to understand what we want this to be. Like, okay, this was given to us. This is what they need from us right now. How do we make the best of this? I think we’ve done a really good job in between each match and outing together to really bring that energy and that chemistry to life.”

On the March 16th episode of IMPACTonAXSTV, KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde – The Coven – won the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles from the Deah Dollz (Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, & Jessicka).

Recently, both members of the Coven have fallen victim in singles matches. Last week on 6/22, Killer Kelly defeated Taylor Wilde. Last night on the 6/29 episode, Masha Slamovich defeated the other half of the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions, KiLynn King.

Masha & Killer Kelly seem to have formed some unholy alliance, and it seems like it’s heading toward them challenging The Coven to a match for the titles at Slammiversary.
