AJPW Star Cyrus The Destroyer States It’s An Honor Being Compared to Big Van Vader

AJPW star Cyrus The Destroyer was a recent guest on The Alliance Pro Wrestling Network and one of the topics that came up was fans comparing him to the legendary Big Van Vader.

Cyrus was quick to point out that he is honored by the comparison to Vader and another legendary big man, Bam Bam Bigelow.

Here is how Cyrus responded when asked about the comparisons to Vader:

You know, I am honored by it honestly. Every time people tell me that I remind them of Vader or Bam Bam Bigelow, every time I get complimented that means I am doing my job right. It’s like I tell everyone, it’s not like I went in and copied everything. I took things from each one of those guys, like all wrestlers do, and I’m going to incorporate it and make it my own. It’s a very good feeling when people say that I remind them of legends.
