Update On AJPW star Ryuki Honda Following Scary Incident
At the July 2nd All Japan Pro-Wrestling Summer Action Series 2023 event, a scary moment occurred as Ryuki Honda was injured following an elbow to the face by Hokuto Omori during a tag team match. After the elbow, Honda’s body went limp, fell to the outside of the ring and was unable to continue the match. Despite this, to quickly end the match, Honda was rolled back into the ring and Omori threw another elbow to the face of Honda while he was being held by Naoki Tanizaki. That blow caused Honda to faint and collapse to the mat thus enabling Omori to get the three count. Honda had to be carried out of the ring on a stretcher.
All Japan Pro-Wrestling released an update to on the condition on Ryuki Honda. They have stated Honda was taken to the doctor’s office on a stretcher and was diagnosed with a mild concussion. It was determined that Honda will need to rest for two or three days.
