Tyler Breeze is still technically under WWE contract.
Breeze, who was released during the pandemic, has remained under a deal for UpUpDownDown per Fightful Select.
The report states that one provision of this deal is he is not allowed to appear on AEW programming
Fightful Select has learned that Tyler Breeze has been under a deal with WWE specifically tied to the UpUpDownDown brand for quite some time. We have not learned if the deal has any wrestling provisions or restrictions associated with it, outside of a WWE source saying that it does prevent him from appearing on AEW programming. Breeze’s return to the ring was announced for Prestige Wrestling for September 1. Those we spoke to put over Breeze’s investments outside of the ring, saying that he was several steps ahead of his wrestling career as far as preparing himself for life outside it. Specifically, he helps run Flatbacks to train wrestlers, and made several smart real estate investments.

We will have to wait and see if we will see Tyler back in a WWE ring soon.
