Earlier today, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce the first match for their Slammiversary Fallout TV taping on July 16th.
Director of Authority, Santino Marella, will take on Dirty Dango.
Back on the 4/27 episode of IMPACTonAXSTV, Santino Marella was brutally assaulted backstage.
His “self-appointed” assistant Director of Authority, Dirty Dango, launched an investigation into the assault.
Backstage on the 5/18 episode of IMPACT, Dirty Dango was still in search of who attacked Santino.
Joe Hendry interjected himself into the situation, and ended up tussling with Dango, at which time it was revealed that Dango was the one who attacked Santino.
At Against All Odds countdown show on 6/9, Joe Hendry put his IMPACT Digital Media Title on the line against Dirty Dango. Santino was on commentary. Hendry won after Dango got in Santino’s face at the commentary table and Hendry was able to get the upper hand and finish it off.
Santino will finally get his hands one Dango in a sanctioned match the day after Slammiversary.
