Wheeler Yuta Dealing With Hamstring Injury, Belief He Will Be Back By AEW Blood And Guts

Wheeler Yuta is going to be on the shelf for a brief time before The Blood And Guts match.

On AEW Dynamite this week, Kenny Omega and Wheeler Yuta battled it out in a singles match that was brutal on both men’s bodies, after the match, Yuta was checked out by the AEW medical team at ringside, in visible pain. We now know the extent of Wheeler’s injuries.

Dave Melzter of the Wrestling Observer reports that Wheeler Yuta suffered a hamstring injury against Kenny Omega on the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. The report states that the “belief” is it’s not a full tear and Yuta will be able to compete in Blood & Guts on July 19.

Yuta is scheduled to be on team Blackpool Combat Club at Blood and Guts, when the faction battles The Elite in the titular matchup.

We will have to wait and see if Yuta can get back in time for this match.
