Major League Wresting began its Open Draft 2023 at the Never Say Never Again event on July 8th. Matt Cardona and Kevin Blackwood were the first two names revealed during the draft.
“Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona, who has been enjoying tremendous success since leaving the WWE, is scheduled to debut for MLW on September 3rd at MLW Fury Road.
It was revealed at Never Say Never 2023 that Mister Saint Laurent will be implementing Matt Cardona as the star of his new venture, World Titan Federation. Cardona is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, GCW World Champion, and the IMPACT Digital Media Champion. He has held numerous other titles on the indy scene as well.
Kevin Blackwood is one of the top names on the indy scene who currently holds the C4 Championship. C4 is one of Canada’s top indy promotions based out of Ottawa, Ontario. Blackwood has held that title for over a year.

Blackwood has also appeared for GCW, West Coast Pro, BLP and PWG. A date for his MLW debut has not yet been confirmed.
