A few weeks ago, DDT Pro-Wrestling star Yuki Ueno called for a singles match against AEW/DDT Pro star Konosuke Takeshita for the upcoming WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 event on July 23rd at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Ueno has gotten his wish. It has been made official that Takeshita will return to his home promotion in Japan, DDT Pro-Wrestling, to face Yuki Ueno in a singles encounter.
Takeshita and Ueno have faced each other numerous times in the past. The last encounter between the two took place back in March 2023 at the DDT Goes Hollywood event in Los Angeles. Takeshita was victorious over Ueno in that match which earned great praise from fans who witnessed it.
Yuki Ueno has never defeated Konosuke Takeshita in a one on one match and will be looking to gain his first victory over Takeshita on July 23rd at WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023.
