The budding rivalry between Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya and NJPW’s Yota Tsuji is starting to really heat up leading into their opening matchup at the G1 Climax 33 tournament on July 15th.
During a G1 Climax press conference today, Kaito Kiyomiya said he will “crush Tsuji” in the opening match and called him an “inexperienced green boy”. This could be in retaliation for Tsuji’s recent comments made about Kiyomiya calling him “an idiot with no sense of the wrestling business”. Their G1 Match is expected to be an explosive one.
During the press conference, Kiyomiya also made these opening comments:
Hello to all the fans of New Japan, I am Kaito Kiyomiya from Noah. I’m glad I was welcomed more than I expected. I have come to take the lead role in the G1 Climax.
The opening night of the NJPW G1 Climax 33 is set to kick off July 15th and will air live on NJPW World subscription streaming service.
