Santos Escobar Advances To Finals Of US Title Number 1 Contenders Tournament On SmackDown

We now know one name in the finals of the US title tournament.

Before the match, Austin Theory would make his way down to the ring to be on commentary for the matchup.

The four way was fast paced and a fun affair on SmackDown, with the four talents putting on a show, with AJ Styles and Grayson Waller renewing their rivalry from NXT for some fun sequences. The fatal four way format lead to constant action.

One of the highlights of the match would be a sunset triple powerbomb from Santos Escobar. However, soon after AJ Styles would go for the victory, but was interrupted by Karrion Kross choking out The OC backstage.

Grayson Waller would take advantage hitting his rolling Stunner on Butch, however, Santos Escobar would land a splash for the win, pinning Waller.

Escobar will now face the winner of next week’s Fatal Four Way match to decide who will challenge Austin Theory next for the US title.
