On June 25th at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Media Scrum Will Ospreay indicated that he would love to step into the ring with his idol, Pro Wrestling NOAH legend Naomichi Marufuji. That dream match for Ospreay has become a reality.
Pro Wrestling NOAH announced today at it’s One Night Dream event that Will Ospreay will face Naomichi Marufuji at Marufuji’s 25th Anniversary event on September 17th.
The match will take place for Pro Wrestling NOAH at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Will Ospreay commented on the dream match via social media:
This means more to me than anyone will ever understand. I’m honoured to step foot on the Ark and face my hero Marufuji San
