Athena To Defend ROH Women’s World Title Against Willow Nightingale At Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor
Willow Nightingale will challenge for Ring Of Honor gold come Death Before Dishonor.
Athena and Willow met in the semi finals of the women’s Owen Hart foundation tournament, with Willow handing Athena her first loss in quite some time. Willow would go on to win the entire tournament.
Ring of Honor announced on social media that Athena will defend her ROH Women’s Championship against Willow Nightingale at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Athena won their first bout in a classic title fight. Willow won the rematch this week on her way to winning the Owen Hart Cup! The rubber match is THIS FRIDAY!

The two women are now 1-1 in singles competition, with this matchup being the tiebreaker. We will have to wait and see who will walk out of Friday’s show world champion.
