Mercedes Mone has remained quiet about her ankle injury she suffered earlier this year.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Mercedes Mone is not talking about her injury status at all. It was recently reported that Mone will be facing off with Giulia when she does return.
“So she has been quiet about everything. She was at the Impact Wrestling Slammiversary pay-per-view….I know she still had crutches, and she had a walking boot on, so the presumption is that she had surgery, but she is still on crutches. We haven’t heard anything about a timetable. Obviously, the plan, when she’s ready, is to wrestle Giulia, who won the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship from Willow Nightingale.”

We will have to wait and see how long it will be before we find out the extent of her ankle injury.
