Nick Aldis Has Been Talked About As A Possible Producer By WWE, Who Appears To Be Very Interested In Signing Him

WWE is rumored to be interested in signing Nick Aldis.

Earlier today, PWInsider reported that former Nick Aldis had left IMPACT after failing to reclaim the World Championship from Alex Shelley at this weekend’s Slammiversary show. Many people were unsure of Aldis’ plans for the future as his second stint with the company came to an end.

PWInsider has now revealed more information about Nick Aldis and his future professional move, citing WWE’s interest in hiring the 36-year-old and giving him a trial as a backstage producer.

“Numerous WWE sources today confirmed that there is high interest in former NWA and Impact Wrestling Champion Nick Aldis now that he is free and clear.

“We have heard from sources today that Aldis’ name has been discussed internally as a potential Producer for the company in recent weeks.”

Previously, after Aldis left NWA, it was reported that WWE was interested in having the star appear in the Royal Rumble, but this never came to fruition.
