DDT Pro KO-D Openweight Champion Yuji Hino and Chris Brookes Comment On Their WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 Main Event
On July 23rd, DDT Pro-Wrestling will hold its major event WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.
The main event of WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 will see the current KO-D Openweight Champion Yuji Hino defend his title against the King of DDT Tournament winner Chris Brookes.
A press conference was held today at Ryogoku KFC Hall in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, to promote the event. Yuji Hino and Chris Brookes both made comments regarding each other and the match.
Chris Brookes made these comments concerning the support he has received:
I’ve made various comments, and the rest is just to do it. After living for 31 years, tomorrow will be either the best day or the worst day. There were many messages of support from everyone, such as ‘Congratulations on winning KING OF DDT.
Yuji Hino responded by confidently saying he may skip training to even the odds between him and Brookes:
Chris came back (from his shoulder injury) and played three games, but at first I thought he had recovered a bit, but when he got serious, he did nothing. So, for the week leading up to today, I don’t think there’s anything I can do to close the gap with Chris. I’m going to skip practice a lot, and I’m going to challenge tomorrow’s game.
Chris Brookes then responded with another comment:
I don’t care because I can win in professional wrestling in just three seconds
