Newly crowned DDT Pro Universal Champion Matt Cardona learned who his first challenger will be for the his title.
DDT Pro-Wrestling announced today that Matt Cardona will defend his title against Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling star Maki Itoh on September 24th. Cardona and Itoh have both made regular appearances for GCW.
Maki Itoh made the challenge via the big screen after Cardona had defeated Tetsuya Endo at WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 to win the DDT Pro Universal Title. The match was made official soon after.
