Chelsea Green Believes She And Sonya Deville Are Already Elevating The Women’s Tag Titles

Chelsea Green believes she and Sonya Deville are already elevating the Women’s Tag Titles they won on last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

Last week, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defended their titles against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. Thanks to a backstage attack before the match, Rodriguez would be coming into the match with a knee injury that the challengers exploited to win the match and the championships.

Speaking in an interview with ComicBook.com, Green says that she believes she and Deville have already elevated the status of the championships that they captured last week despite only holding them for a week.

“Honestly, we’re already doing it,” Green said when asked how she and Deville would elevate the titles. “Look at the way we look. Look at what we bring to the table. Star power. Period. All these other teams, they go out there, they’re mismatching. We come prepared, and we came prepared day one. One of our first tag matches ever is at WrestleMania. Who else can say that? I just feel like we come with more history and more backstory, and the element of being prepared.”

Not only Green and Deville believe they are capable of elevating the titles, but WWE are reportedly hoping for the same, with hopes that the heel team can provide stability to the titles.
